Pasta with oil and red chili, maximum taste and health!

Currently, the crop in which the company is most specialized is the spicy chili pepper of the Etna variety, commonly known as “Piccante a mazzetti”.
Everything takes place within what can be defined as a closed cycle that starts from the production and selection of the seed, passing through the transplanting in the field, up to harvesting and subsequent packaging. This latter phase takes place in a specially designed environment, which complies with all the main hygiene and health regulations established by current legislation.

The Etna chili pepper belongs to the botanical variety Capsicum annuum. The plant produces elongated conical fruits, about 4 cm long, with a very striking bright red color. The chili peppers, red when fully ripe, are grouped in bunches of varying size depending on their position during the plant's development. The spiciness is medium (about 30,000 Scoville units), progressive and aromatic, enhancing and intensifying the flavor of foods.

Chili peppers are mainly processed in bunches weighing about 100 g and divided into packages of 10 to 20 units, depending on the requirements of different customers. Each proposed solution fully meets the traceability needs, a fundamental factor within the GLOBALG.A.P. protocol, in which our company has operated for years.

Each individual bunch is marked with labels made of polypropylene, which is water-resistant and therefore suitable for storing the product in cold storage. In addition to the company's information, the label shows the barcode and batch number; customers are also offered the option to print additional variable data at their discretion. For labeled products, a cardboard box containing 20 bunches per package is proposed, which is also very visually appealing.

An innovative aspect that distinguishes the company's activity is the possibility of packaging individual bunches with a guaranteed minimum weight of 100 g in micro-perforated flowpack bags. This type of packaging offers countless advantages: the surface of the film used is micro-perforated and therefore allows moisture to escape, significantly slowing down the physiological deterioration process typical of fresh fruit and vegetable products. For the packaged product, a cardboard box containing 10 bags per package is offered.

- Minimum guaranteed weight
- No weight loss due to fruit detachment
- High breathability
- Guaranteed traceability
- Maximum hygiene
